OTT Irish Coffee
Made with Whisky
main ingredients
- OTT Irish Coffee - 1.5ounce
- Demerara syrup - .25ounce
- Hot coffee - 5ounce
- Salt - A pinch
- Cardamom pods - 3
- Heavy cream - 5-6ounce
- White sugar - 2tablespoon
- Zest from an orange - As needed
- Orange bitters - 2 dashes
instructions
Muddle the cardamom pods in the bottom of a pre-heated Irish coffee glass.
Add whiskey, Demerara syrup, hot coffee, and salt and stir together.
Combine the heavy cream, sugar, orange zest, and bitters and whip together until the mixture is thick, but still pourable.
Float cream over the top of the drink by pouring gently over the back of a spoon.
Add an additional garnish, if you like, of a lightly toasted marshmallow.
